PAJAMA SUNDAY

Our First Annual Pajama Sunday - suggested by new member Ryan - was a big hit. Almost everyone arrived for worship on Sunday morning dressed in jammies and robes and slippers. I think that wearing our most comfy clothes helped us experience worship in a litle different way. Perhaps it even helped us understand the Holy Spirit as 'Comforter' a little better. It was an exciting time to dedicate with a laying on of hands, our two new Confirmands, eighth grader, Drew Ashley-Grochowski and seventh grader, Hannah Peterson. Hannah and Drew will be involved in a variety of activities and learning sessions and church involvement for two years.

This Friday evening, February 12, our new Ministry Groups will be gathering for the first time in an All-Ministry Groups meeting. This will be the February meeting for these groups. We'll begin with a simple supper and large group time - then break into individual groups to determine Ministry group chairs, council representatives, meeting date and time, and goals for the upcoming year. We'll end the evening with a brief large group gathering and closing prayers.
